Or my name’s Shirley.

And it’s not!

So, it has developed into a bruise, which actually hurts a lot more. xD I can’t sleep on this side of my head because it hurts so much and when I do, I start getting dizzy and seeing ‘stars’. It’s pretty damn cool.

Back from the show. It was so amazing, completely perfect, every single band performed so beautifully. I literally have a dead body now, behind my ear has a really big bump which might be a concern, but, it feels cool. xD I think I lost like a gallon of water through sweating, my shirts are so drenched and smelly, I gag. But, it was completely worth it, because now I’m not sad anymore, I’m just so tired from that show.

I’m in such a hood mood….

Is anybody else super excited about Bates Motel? Because you should all be. Freddie Highmore, or as others know him, Charlie, in his good old chocolate factory, as a future murderer? Vera Farmiga from A Haunting In Connecticut as his mother? Max Thieriot from Jumper and My Soul To Take? Nestor Carbonell, the mayor of Gotham City in TDKR as a sheriff? Mike Vogel, who has been in a slew of movies? This is a stellar fucking cast. Oh, not to mention, it’s a prequel to Psycho, which is often labeled as the movie that brought about slasher films, although that’s not true, it has been a huge inspiration for movies and tv. Be excited about this guys, seriously, it’s gonna be amazing.

OH AND I JUST FOUND OUR FUCKING HARRISON FORD IS GOING TO BE IN THE NEW ANCHORMAN. HAN FUCKING SOLO, IN ANCHORMAN GUYS, CAN THIS MOVIE BE ANY BETTER? MAYBE, BUTT STILL, EXCITED SO MUCH FOR THIS MOVIE.

Just got back from checking out the Old School Video Game Art Show at Gallery 1988 in Santa Monica, CA. You might recognize many of these pieces from posts we’ve made here on it8bit, and they are even more awesomer in person. If you live in the Los Angeles area, you have no excuse…go. If you have already gone, rad. If there is no possible way for you to be able to view the retro glory in person, check back for more cool photos to come!

Show ends October 8, 2011.

Well, the 8-Bit Champions show held tonight in Paris was a huge success! The large turnout got to see some pretty awesome artwork in what has to be the most unique gallery I’ve seen to date. Chiptune music played while we got to play retro games on good ol’ fashioned consoles. It was pretty rad to hear Super Mario Bros echoing in a cave-like setting. More photos to come of artists featured in the show!

8-Bit Champions was produced and curated by CHOGRIN and Thomas Olivri (of Geek-Art), whom I had the pleasure of finally meeting in person. I learned a lot about what it takes to put a show like this together, and he truly made it an awesome experience for everyone.
